Where do Sessions Take Place?
We meet with clients in-person in Downtown Bend and Downtown Sisters or online across the State of Oregon!
How long is a typical Counseling Session?
Counseling sessions are typically 53-60 minutes. We also offer EMDR intensive sessions which range from 120 minutes up to 6 hours.
What happens in a first counseling session
This is the first opportunity for you and your counselor to really connect. There will be space for you to share about your reasons for seeking counseling as well as any hopes for the counseling process. Your counselor will have questions regarding your background as well as current lived experiences. You and your counselor will also speak about what you might expect from counseling moving forward and collaborate on developing a plan for care.
How often do I meet with my counselor
When you being counseling it is typical to meet with your counselor once a week however this depends on your current needs and availability as well as your counselors recommendations for care.
Do you accept Insurance?
YES! We are currently in-network with PacificSource Commercial, PacificSource Community Solutions (OHP), Medicaid OpenCard/DMAP, MODA and Providence. We bill most out-of-network insurance companies on your behalf. EMDR Intensives are not a covered service and are therefore not billable to insurance. We are unable to bill medicare insurance.
