Angie believes counseling is a powerful process of coming together in relationship to heal. Angie was inspired to build her own counseling practice after an accumulation of empowering and disempowering experiences as a client and care provider within the traditional healthcare system. Angie believes it is each individual's right to be a central participant in the care they receive and hopes to offer this experience to those who choose to connect with Healing Roots. Natalie Mehrens, (She/Her) LPCNatalie believes therapy is a sacred space to address the tenderest of feelings, beliefs and memories. Her work is grounded in attachment theory, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and the neurobiology of connection. Natalie specializes in working with individual adults seeking EMDR and IFS counseling for trauma healing and treatment of PTSD and C-PTSD. Madeline Cunningham (She/They), Masters of Counseling Graduate InternMadeline believes therapy is a collaborative and relational process, where two humans come together to make sense of life’s experiences.
